Kazakhstan sees decrease in real incomes of population

In Kazakhstan, the average per capita income was 79,738 tenge in October 2017, the Statistics Committee of the National Economy Ministry of Kazakhstan reported.

The incomes of the population for the reporting period of the current year in nominal terms decreased by 3.2 percent compared to the same period of 2016, and in real terms - by 10.1 percent.

The average monthly nominal wage of one employee, according to data for November 2017, was 149,221 tenge.

In Kazakhstan, the number of unemployed in November 2017 hit 440,000 people, which is 5 percent of the total number of economically active population (in October the figure was 4.9 Percent).

As of late November, 125,900 people, or 1.4 percent of the economically active population of the country, were registered as unemployed in the employment agencies of Kazakhstan.

The official exchange rate for December 13 is 334.85 KZT / USD.
