Investments in Kazakhstan's arts and entertainment sector down

The level of capital investments in arts and entertainment field of Kazakhstan amounted to 46.6 billion tenge in 10 months of 2017, which is 12.7 percent less than in the same period of the previous year.

The decline is observed mainly due to the reduction of investment flows in the mentioned sphere in Astana (by almost two times, amounting to 3.1 billion tenge) and Almaty (by 10 times, amounting to 2.6 billion tenge), Energy Prom reported.

However, in some regions the level of investments increased, in particular, in Akmola region (by more than two times, amounting to 11.7 billion tenge) and Mangystau region (by two times, amounting to 3.5 billion tenge).

The highest growth rates of investments in the arts and entertainment sector were recorded in Kazakhstan’s Pavlodar region (by 7 times, amounting to 1.6 billion tenge).
