Foreign investments in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital increase

The volume of foreign investments put in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital totaled 7.91 billion manats in January-November 2017, which is by 3 percent more than in the same period of 2016 (7.68 billion manats), says the State Statistics Committee’s report on the results of eleven months of 2017.

During the period, 83.3 percent (6.59 billion manats) of investments put in Azerbaijan’s economy accounted for investors from the UK, Turkey, Malaysia, Switzerland, Russia, Iran, the US, Japan and the Czech Republic.

In January-November 2017, the biggest volume of foreign investment in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital was put in July – 998.4 million manats, and the smallest – in September (584.4 million manats).

In January-November 2017, the biggest share of foreign investments in Azerbaijan’s fixed capital was recorded in January – 68.5 percent of total volume of investments, and the smallest share – in October (46.5 percent).
