Products manufactured at the Uzbek-Chinese Peng Sheng Industrial Park in the Syrdarya region are exported to neighboring countries and countries of Europe, podrobno.uz informs.
General Manager of the Peng Sheng Industrial Park Wang Xinghe said that ceramic tiles manufactured at the Park are exported to such countries of Central Asia as Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.
"Moreover, our products are also available on the European market. For example, mixers produced at one of Peng Sheng factories are already sold in Europe and Russia," he said.
The park, established in 2009, is located on the territory of the branch of the Free Economic Zone "Djizak".
Over 30 projects have already been implemented in the Park.
The Park unites several enterprises producing industrial goods, from the production of footwear, ceramic plates and sanitary ware, to the production of animal feed.
During 9 months of the current year, the volume of trade between Uzbekistan and China exceeded $ 3.4 billion. Over the past four years, China continues to be the number one investor in Uzbekistan and the second largest trading partner.
The volume of Chinese investments in Uzbekistan is more than $ 7.8 billion and covers various sectors of the economy and industry, including such as energy, chemical industry, coal mining, gas production and transportation, trade, finance and many others.
