The passenger plane of the Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC (AZAL), carrying out flight J2 251 on the Baku-Nakhchivan route, returned to the Heydar Aliyev International Airport some time after the takeoff, said AZAL Dec. 22.
The plane departed from Baku at 08:12 (UTC+4), however, it returned to the Heydar Aliyev airport due to a sharp deterioration in weather conditions at the Nakhchivan airport (fog and limited visibility).
The plane will depart from Baku after receiving confirmation of the possibility of receiving flights from the Nakhchivan airport.
