Azerbaijani company to audit hydropower plant in Kyrgyzstan

Moore Stephens Azerbaijan and Kyrgyzaudit companies will hold an audit of the second phase of project on rehabilitation of Toktogul hydropower plant (HPP) in Kyrgyzstan, the company said in a message Jan. 5.

The cost of the contract is over $242,000, according to the message.

Rehabilitation of Toktogul HPP is being carried out by Electric Stations JSC as part of the Asian Development Bank’s (ADB) project worth $250 million.

The project envisages the development of a comprehensive plan for the development of Kyrgyzstan’s energy sector, the replacement of some hydroelectric generators of the Toktogul HPP, the restoration work on the gates and other hydraulic structures of the plant, the improvement of business processes and the introduction of a resource planning system for the enterprise and others.
