Kazakhstan attracted more than $15 billion worth of direct foreign investment during nine months of 2017, said the Minister of National Economy of Kazakhstan Timur Suleimenov, during the meeting of the government.
He added that this figure illustrates a 5.3 percent increase, compared to the same period of 2016, Kazakh media reported.
"The level of investments from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, in turn, increased by 40.8 percent to $935.1 million (during the mentioned period), which is 5.9 percent. This is an indicator that we create comfortable conditions for business throughout the EEU," the minister said.
