President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with agricultural enterprises and new projects to increase the volume of processing and export of harvested products in the country's Kashkadarya region.
During his recent visit to the region, the president got acquainted with the work of a juice plant and enterprise for the processing of fruit and vegetable products "Darmon Sharbati" in the Yakkabag district.
The enterprise for the processing of fruit and vegetable products "Darmon Sharbati", operating under the private enterprise "Darmon Pharm", was put into operation in August 2017.
Modern energy-saving equipment of the enterprise can process up to 20 tons of fruit and vegetables per day. It mainly produces apple, pumpkin and carrot juices. In the future, it is planned to arrange the production of juice from grapes, pomegranate and vegetables.
The modern technologies introduced at the enterprise ensure high labor productivity and product quality. The finished products, which preserved the natural qualities of fruits and vegetables, are bottled in a special container - aseptic packages of 1.5 and 3 liters.
The head of state stressed the need to create even more such enterprises in the region.
Later, there were presented projects aimed at increasing the storage, processing and export of agricultural products in the Kashkadarya region in 2018-2019.
Particularly, "Easi agro international" LLC plans to implement a project on the processing and export of agricultural products and achieve production of 8 million cans of canned vegetables and jams a year. The enterprise is planned to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2018.
The enterprise "Darmon Sharbati" presented a project for the production of baby food, while agrofarm "Sharofat op Kahramon Kizi" - a project for the construction of a freezing warehouse.
The head of state gave instructions for the timely and high-quality implementation of these projects.
