Kazakhstan’s international reserves increase

Kazakhstan’s international reserves in January 2018 increased by 1.13 percent compared to December 2017 and amounted to $90.071 billion.

The gross international reserves of Kazakhstan increased by 3.18 percent to $31.7 billion and the net international reserves increased by 3.2 percent to $31.199 billion in January 2018 compared to December 2017, according to the National Bank of Kazakhstan.

The volume of assets of the National Fund of Kazakhstan, in turn, amounted to $58.347 billion, increasing by 0.05 percent in the mentioned period.

The volume of assets in freely convertible currency amounted to $18.639 billion (a 2.15 percent increase compared December 2017).

The volume of country’s gold assets increased by 4.69 percent and amounted to $13.085 billion.
