The Sumgait Technologies Park (STP) in Azerbaijan is planning to export high-voltage cables to Arab countries, the enterprise told Trend.
STP plans to acquire a corresponding certificate allowing to establish export of high-voltage cables.
“A distribution network is currently being formed to export products of STP. Cable products of the Sumgait Technologies Park are exported to the countries of the region today. The distribution network is already fully operating in Georgia and Kazakhstan,” the company added.
STP currently produces 220-kV, 330-kV and 500-kV cables. The technologies park is the biggest enterprise implementing infrastructure projects in Azerbaijan. STP produces electrical equipment and machinery, including a wide range of various cables, transforming stations, high-voltage equipment, water turbines and pumps, electrical engines, pipes and technical gases.
