In 2018, Turkish Airlines (THY) intend to increase the passenger turnover to 75 million passengers, Seyfullah Ilyas, director of the Baku representation of Turkish Airlines said.
According to him, in 2017 this figure was 60 million. At the same time he added that the passenger traffic from Azerbaijan last year amounted to 300 thousand passengers.
In his turn, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Erkan Ozoral noted that Turkish Airlines intend to increase the number of flights from Azerbaijan.
“Currently they are carried out four times a day, but in the future their number will be increased”, Ozoral said.
