Uzbekistan to present its products in Turkmen capital

Uzbek export-oriented enterprises will participate in an exhibition in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, on March 29-31 under the “Made in Uzbekistan” brand, the press office of the Uzbek Trade and Industry Chamber reported.

According to the information, the main goal is to promote Uzbek companies and investment achievements in the Turkmen market, present various investment projects in order to sign contracts with Turkmen and other foreign companies, acquaint Turkmen entrepreneurs with production capacity and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan.

The exposition will be held in two blocks. The first block will be located in an open area of 500 square meters, while the second one will be held in a closed 1,500-square-meter exhibition area. More than 100 Uzbek enterprises, companies and firms will participate in the exhibition.

A business forum with participation of Uzbek and Turkmen business circles as well as a cultural program will be organized on the sidelines.

Uzbekistan for the first time participated in the FOOD EXPO GREECE international exhibition in Athens on March 10-12.

Agreements worth over $28 million for export of Uzbek products, such as grape, nut, dried apricots, almonds, honey, dried vegetables, liquorice, beans and cereals, confectionery, winery etc., were signed between Uzbek and foreign companies at the exhibition.
