Prices for the precious metals in Azerbaijan increased on March 14. The cost of gold increased by 14.88 manats (0.7 percent) to 2257,25 manats per troy ounce in Azerbaijan on March 14, according to the data published by the country’s Central Bank.
The cost of gold in Azerbaijan over the past 30 days (February 14 - March 14, 2018) decreased from $2268.97 to $2257.25. During this period, the prices reached a peak index on Feb.19 - $ 2291.45, the lowest price of gold was recorded on March 1 - $ 2234.94.

Nevertheless, despite the 30-day decline in cost, the gold prices rose by 33.47 manats (1.5 percent) since the beginning of the year.
The cost of silver increased by 0.9 percent to 28.2536 manats per ounce. The cost of platinum increased by 0.7 percent to 1646.773 manats and the cost of palladium increased by 1.44 percent to 1688.219 in the country.

On the world markets, the cost of gold is slightly decreasing. Thus, this precious metal is traded in the range of $1,324 - $1,325, whereas the price of gold was $1326.02 on the eve.
The price for April futures of gold in the US fell by $2.5 to $1324.7 per ounce.
Today, silver is traded in the range of $16.54 per ounce compared to $16.53 on Tuesday, platinum - $965.74 compared to $961.99 and palladium - $1,001 against $991.
