Volume of net gold and foreign currency reserves of Uzbekistan decreased by $315 million during a month until March 1 and amounted to $26.9 billion, the press office of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan reported.
On Feb. 1, the volume of gold and foreign currency reserves of Uzbekistan totaled $27.2 billion.
Gross gold and foreign currency reserves of the country amounted to $28.3 billion, including foreign currency assets totaling $14.7 billion (a $60-million decrease from previous month) and monetary gold assets totaling $13.6 billion (a $377-million decrease from previous month).
