Products worth 133.4 million manats were produced by metallurgical companies in Azerbaijan in January-February 2018, reads a report of the country’s State Statistics Committee.
The report says the volume of output of metallurgical industry decreased by 10 percent while the production of finished goods grew 67 percent in January-February 2018.
Azerbaijan produced 46,200 tons of fittings in January-February 2018, which is 1.9 percent more than in January-February 2017.
In January-February 2018, 9.5 tons of steel pipes were produced in Azerbaijan, that is by 47.5 percent less than in January-February 2017.
The volume of steel casting production stood at 60,300 tons in January-February 2018, which is 7 percent less than in January-February 2017.
Azerbaijan exported 4,044.2 tons of ferrous metal pipes worth $3.460 million in January 2018, which is by 8 percent more (by 2.7 percent less in money terms) than in January 2017.
