Doğan Grub, one of the largest Turkish holdings, has put up for sale its media subsidiaries, the Turkish Public Disclosure Platform (Kamuyu Aydınlatma Platformu - KAP) said in a message.
Reportedly, the newspapers Hürriyet, Posta, Fanatik, news agency DHA, TV channels Kanal D, CNN Türk, and D-Smart, which are part of Doğan Medya Grub have been put up for sale.
Total value of all subsidiaries is estimated at $1.1 billion.
The reason for sale of the subsidiaries is not reported.
Doğan Holding was founded in 1997 and operates in the field of media and energy.
