Gross gold and foreign currency reserves of Uzbekistan increased to $28.49 billion by April 1, 2018, which is 0.56 percent more than the figure by March 1 ($28.33 billion), the press service of the Central Bank of Uzbekistan stated in its message.
According to the information, foreign currency assets accounted for $14.51 billion (1.36-percent decrease), whereas monetary gold assets – for $13.9 billion (2.57-percent increase).
The net gold and foreign currency reserves amounted to $27.08 billion by April 1 compared to $26.93 billion by March 1.
