A state program will be developed in Azerbaijan to increase the production of organic fertilizers, Ali Alizadeh, President of Agro Bio Eco Tech Company engaged in the production of environmentally friendly agricultural products, said on April 26.
According to the president of the company, the program will be designed for 2019-2023 years. As part of the state program, the зresident of the company added, it is planned to build organic fertilizer production enterprises in 22 regions of Azerbaijan.
"We produce biohumus - an organic fertilizer obtained using red California worms, but it is very expensive. In this regard, it is planned to switch to industrial production of organic fertilizers in the regions. There are a lot of raw materials, agricultural and household waste, and the state program is aimed at using this potential to expand the production of organic fertilizers," Alizade said.
Speaking about the role of Agro Bio Eco Tech Company in the development of the state program, Alizadeh noted that the company's specialists will manage the entire process and train employees of these enterprises.
