In the 1Q2018 the enterprises of the Uztekstilprom association produced goods worth 1.94 trillion soums, which is 15.1 percent more compared to the 1Q2017, the press service of the association stated on May 3.
According to the statement, the enterprises produced consumer goods worth 1.04 trillion soums in the 1Q2018, which is 28.4 percent more than in the 1Q2017.
The share of finished goods with high added value exceeded 54 percent of the total volume of industrial production.
Production volume increase by the main categories of products is as follows: 101,800 tons of yarn (+14.8 percent), 56.4 million square meters of cotton fabrics (+11.5 percent), 18.9 thousand tons of knitted fabric (+40.3 percent), 97 million pieces of finished products (+18.6 percent), 7.9 million pairs of hosiery (+20.5 percent).
In the 1Q2018, production of 27 new types and models of textile and garment-knitted goods for 164 billion soums was mastered. Twelve new types of products were developed using synthetic and natural raw materials (mixed yarns and fabrics, nonwovens, garments).
