The largest German business delegation for all the time of bilateral relations will visit Uzbekistan on May 14-16, the press service of the Uzbek Embassy in Germany said.
The visit is organized by the Uzbek Embassy in Germany together with the Eastern Committee of the German Economy and the German-Uzbek Business Council.
The delegation will include more than 70 representatives of German companies operating in such sectors as construction materials production, agricultural machinery, automotive, chemical and electrical industries, construction, banking, tourism, services etc.
Representatives of such large companies as Siemens, MAN, BASF, TUI Group, SAP, Knauf, Deutsche Bank and Commerzbank are among the delegation members, as well as a large group of representatives of small and medium-sized businesses.
The business forum and cooperation exchange will be held on May 15 in the International Hotel in Tashkent city. On the same day, the fourth meeting of the German-Uzbek Business Council will be held. On May 16, the members of the delegation will take part in the ceremony of launching a new production line of the Knauf Gips plant in the Bukhara region.
Within the framework of the visit, the delegation will visit the territory of the former Algorithm plant, where a German industrial zone is planned to be created.
Meetings of members of the delegation will hold meeting with business circles of Uzbekistan. They will also visit regions of the republic in order to discuss prospects for establishing mutually beneficial cooperation in the future.
