Kazakhstan’s international reserves increase

The volume of Kazakhstan’s international reserves increased by 0.83 percent in April 2018 compared to March 2018, the National Bank of Kazakhstan said in a message.

The indicator also increased by 1.78 percent, compared to January 2018, amounting to $90.668 billion.

The gross international reserves of Kazakhstan in April 2018 increased by 3.73 percent (in January-April 2018 - by 3.4 percent) to $31.791 billion and the volume of net international reserves increased by 3.81 percent, (in January-April 2018 - by 3.47 percent) to $31.282 billion.

The volume of assets of Kazakhstan’s national fund amounted to $58.877 billion in April 2018, decreasing by 0.67 percent, compared to the previous month (in January-April 2018, the indicator increased by 0.93 percent). The volume of assets in freely convertible currency amounted to $18.475 billion, demonstrating an increase of 5.87 percent in the previous month (in January-April 2018, the indicator increased by 1.25 percent).

The volume of Kazakhstan's assets in gold increased by 0.9 percent in April 2018, to $13.317 billion (in January-April 2018 - by 6.55 percent).
