One of the world's largest manufacturers of agricultural machinery - Russian company Rostselmash intends to increase supplies to Azerbaijan, Director of sales in Asia Andrey Kolesnikov told Trend May 16 on the sidelines of international exhibitions WorldFood Azerbaijan, Caspian Agro and Ipack Caspian, held in Baku Expo Center.
"Last year our company supplied about 80 units of various agricultural machinery to Azerbaijan”, said Kolesnikov.
Kolesnikov noted that, within the framework of the Caspian Agro exhibition, the company's representatives are planning to meet with the Minister of Agriculture of Azerbaijan and the head of the state leasing company "Agroleasing". Within the framework of these meetings, it is planned to discuss the prospects and the possibility of increasing supplies.
"We already have preliminary agreements, but they are not supported by written contracts yet," said Kolesnikov, adding that he counts on positive dynamics in cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Kolesnikov noted that, the fleet of agricultural machinery requires regular renewal, and the Government of Azerbaijan invests a lot of money therein, providing great support to agricultural producers.
"We expect to increase our contribution to this process," the director added.
"Rostselmash" ("Rostov agricultural machines") is a Russian company, which is one of the five largest global manufacturers of agricultural machinery. Its organizational structure includes 13 companies.
