Kazakh National Bank reveals country’s international reserves

Kazakhstan’s international reserves amounted to $90.356 billion in May 2018, increasing by 0.2 percent, compared to the previous month, the press service of National Bank of Kazakhstan said in a message.

The assets of the National Fund of Kazakhstan amounted to $59.184 billion in the mentioned period, increasing by 0.52 percent, compared to the previous month.

The gross international reserves of the Kazakh National Bank decreased by 0.54 percent in May, compared to the previous month, amounting to $31.172 billion.

The net international reserves of the country’s National Bank, in turn, decreased by 0.52 percent and amounted to $30.67 billion. Assets in foreign currency decreased by 1.16 percent, to $17.814 billion. Gold assets for the past month increased to $13.357 billion.
