Investments in Kazakhstan’s fixed capital increase

The volume of investments in fixed capital in Kazakhstan amounted to 3.4 trillion tenge in January-May 2018, which is 25.3 percent more than in the same period of 2017, the Committee on Statistics of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan said in a message.

The share of own funds of the country’s economic entities worth 2.5 trillion tenge continue to prevail in sources of investments.

In January-May 2018, the volume of investments aimed at construction and capital repair of buildings and structures increased by 13.2 percent.

A significant portion of investments in fixed capital accounts for mining and quarrying (45.3 percent), real estate transactions (13.9 percent) and transportation and warehousing (12.3 percent).

The volume of investments of large enterprises, in turn, amounted to 2 trillion tenge.
