Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan is going to host Jizzakh International Investment Forum on Aug. 29-30, Uzbek media reported.
The forum is organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Investments jointly with the administration of Jizzakh region.
For the first time, the international investment forum will be held on the territory of the Jizzakh Free Economic Zone.
The purpose of the event is to familiarize business circles and representatives of international organizations accredited in Uzbekistan with social and economic development of the Jizzakh region, with measures taken to improve the investment climate, as well as with favorable conditions and preferences created for foreign investors and business entities.
The two-day investment forum is planned to include a business forum, an exhibition of products of the Jizzakh region, B2B negotiations, visits to industrial enterprises of the region etc.
