In 2018, Coca-Cola company plans to produce 350 million liters of finished products in Uzbekistan, which is a record in the history of the company's activity in Uzbekistan, the company said.

The company plans to achieve a similar record in honor of the 25th anniversary of activity in Uzbekistan and the 20th anniversary of "Mega-factory" in Tashkent.

"The first batch of Coca-Cola beverage in glass bottles was released at the "Mega-factory" on Aug. 12, 1998,” Director General of Joint Venture Coca-Cola Ichimligi Uzbekiston Ltd. Anvar Khajiev said. “Today our product range consists of nine kinds of drinks, which are available in glass and plastic containers of various sizes. The new products are planned to be modernized and produced soon."

The representative of the company noted that the enterprises are trying to reduce the volume of waste. The advanced system of purification of the water used for production and the engineering equipment operates at all three plants of the company in Uzbekistan. Almost all the wastes of the production process, including packaging, etc., are dispatched for recycling.

This year, the Tashkent and Namangan plants have implemented a project that will significantly reduce the consumption of purified water for the manufacture of finished products. The same scheme will be implemented in Urgench.

"I think that the secret of Coca-Cola's success in Uzbekistan is high quality of our drinks-world famous and favorite brands. And the most important thing is the skill and dedication to the beloved work of more than 1,350 employees, almost one hundred percent of whom are citizens of Uzbekistan," he said.
