By the end of 2018, about 30 projects in transport infrastructure will be implemented in Turkey, the Turkish Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure told Trend Sept. 4.
Until the end of 2018, two new metro lines will be opened in Istanbul, one of which will connect the city center with the new (third) airport.
"Until the end of 2018, two high-speed train lines will be launched as well," the ministry said.
"By the end of 2018, it is planned to hold tenders to start construction of 13 ports, some of which will be used for tourism purposes," the ministry added. "By the end of the year, it is also planned to complete the construction of five airports in several provinces of Turkey."
