French Bouygues S.A. company is carrying out construction of new buildings in the downtown Ashgabat, the "Neutral Turkmenistan" newspaper wrote Sept. 5.
President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov familiarized himself with the construction of these facilities the day before.
In the near future, a complex of buildings of the international congress center and a luxury hotel will appear on Chandybil Avenue.
In the same part of the city, the new administrative offices equipped with advanced equipment will be built, which will organically fit into the architectural ensemble being formed here, the message says.
It was reported in February 2018, that Bouygues company received new projects in Turkmenistan. The capital administration signed a contract for the construction of a luxury hotel. The document prescribes to commission the facility in September 2020.
The Department of General Affairs of the Office of the President of Turkmenistan was allowed to conclude a contract for the construction of a complex of buildings of the international congress center. The document prescribes to commission the complex in March 2020.
It was also reported that the state commercial bank Turkmenbashi and joint-stock commercial bank Senagat will sign contracts for the construction of administrative buildings of these banks. The documents prescribe to deliver the projects in September 2019.
Bouygues has long been represented in the Turkmen market. The French concern has implemented a series of projects, the total cost of which exceeded several billion US dollars. Among the implemented projects, there are the presidential quarter, the administrative center in the downtown part of the capital, the university campus, a number of hotels and factories.
