Suwan TPL Co. Ltd. may import alcohol, beans from Uzbekistan

Korean logistics and consulting company Suwan TPL Co. Ltd. is interested in importing alcohol, beans and spices from Uzbekistan, the press service of the Tashkent city administration said.

A meeting with the Korean delegation, consisting of representatives of the companies Hyundai DIA Hausys, Segi Century, Sunjin E&A, Suwan TPL Co. Ltd was held in the Uzbek capital’s administration.

During the meeting, CEO of Hyundai DIA Hausys Joo Woo-Jung said that Korean entrepreneurs would be happy to promote their business together with the Uzbek side.

Representatives of the Korean logistics and consulting company in the field of investment and trade Suwan TPL Co. Ltd. noted that they are interested in cooperation with Uzbekistan in export of Uzbek alcoholic beverages, beans and spices to Korea, as well as in attracting Korean investment in the production of medical equipment in Uzbekistan.

It should be noted that Uzbekistan is the main trading partner of the Republic of Korea among the countries of Central Asia. Uzbekistan accounts for over half of the trade turnover of the Republic of Korea with the states of the region. In the 1H2018, the trade turnover between Uzbekistan and South Korea amounted to $762.4 million.

Currently, there are more than 460 enterprises with participation of Korean capital in Uzbekistan (386 joint ventures and 75 enterprises with fully Korean capital).

Representative offices of 75 South Korean companies are also accredited in Uzbekistan.
