Poultry farming to further develop in Turkmenistan's east

In Carjew district of Turkmenistan's Lebap Province, in the current quarter of this year, a new poultry production complex is being prepared for launch, Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported.

The project is implemented by the local company Eshret out of the preferential bank loans.

The new complex is designed to produce 500 tons of chicken meat and over 2 million eggs a year. A modern poultry cluster being constructed in the Amu Darya valley, where several similar complexes operate.

The poultry complex meets modern requirements for keeping poultry, processing chicken meat, collecting eggs and shipping products to the consumer market.

It was earlier reported that the State Commercial Bank Daykhanbank provides loans for agricultural projects for a period of up to 10 years with a grace period of two years at 2 percent per annum. In order to financially stimulate agriculture, such tools as government purchases of products, guaranteed prices and preferential taxation are used.
