In January-September 2018, the wholesale trade turnover in Uzbekistan amounted to over 39.8 billion soums, which is 6.6 percent more compared to the same period last year, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said in a report.
According to the information, the wholesale trade turnover of small businesses amounted to over 26.57 billion soums (66.8 percent of the total turnover) and increased by 5.0 percent compared to the same period last year.
The share of small businesses was the most in the city of Tashkent (80.3 percent), Fergana region (73.2 percent) and Samarkand region (71.9 percent).
A decreasing growth rate of the volume of wholesale trade was observed in the Kashkadarya region (94.0 percent) and Samarkand region (97.5 percent).
