The products of the factory are in great demand outside Azerbaijan, especially in the Baltic countries, the leading specialist of the factory added.

"We supply mainly pomegranate juice to Estonia and Lithuania, as well as narsharab (pomegranate molasses). These two countries are our long-time partners. We have actually cooperated with them for ten years already. In the middle of 2018, we received a proposal to extend the contract from our Baltic clients and relatively recently signed a document providing for export deliveries from Azerbaijan to Estonia and Lithuania until the end of 2019," Hajiyev said.

He noted that presently, the products of the factory are supplied to the domestic market in Baku, and are also being sold in Sabirabad.

"The lion's share of our products is exported outside Azerbaijan. In addition to the Baltic states, we supply our products to Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Russia. Small batches of exports also go to Spain and Germany, where pomegranate juice and compotes are supplied," Hajiyev added.

Sabirabad canning factory has been operating since 1982.

Products manufactured by the factory have a Certificate of Conformity issued by the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents of Azerbaijan.
