Business trips from Turkey to Uzbekistan increase almost four times

At the end of January-September 2018, the number of Turkish citizens who visited Uzbekistan through the Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR) to find a job has increased by 396.43 percent compared to the same period in 2017, the Turkish Employment Agency (ISKUR) told Trend Oct. 17.

The ISKUR noted that during this period, 417 Turkish citizens arrived in Uzbekistan with the support of the Agency, which is by 333 citizens more compared to the same period in 2017.

The government officials also noted that in September 2018, 84 Turkish citizens left for Uzbekistan via ISKUR.

In September 2018, 2010 citizens of the country made their way to abroad through the Turkish Employment Agency.

In the first nine months of 2018, 16,781 citizens of Turkey went abroad via ISKUR, which is 14.14 percent more compared to the same period in 2017.

In September 2018, 105,892 citizens of the country were employed in Turkey, which is 9.7 percent more compared to the same month last year.

In Turkey, in September, 34 percent of people provided with job fell to the share of women, and 66 percent – to the share of men.

In September 2018, the number of unemployed persons in Turkey amounted to 3.133 million people, of which 52 percent were women, and 48 percent were men.
