Total income of Uzbekistan's population exceed $21B

In January-September 2018, total aggregate income of the population of Uzbekistan amounted to 173 trillion soums ($21.07 billion), which is on average equal to 5.3 million soums per person, the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan said in a report.

Due to the change in consumer prices, the growth rate of the total income of the population in real terms was 111.4 percent, of the per capita income – 109.5 percent over the same period last year.

The highest average per capita nominal aggregate income of the population was in Tashkent – 11,728,500 soums, Navoi region – 7,999,500 soums, Bukhara region – 6,158,900 soums, Tashkent region – 5,655,700 soums and Khorezm region – 5,320,200 soums.

The lowest figure was observed in the Namangan region – 3,827,200 soums.

On Oct. 13, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree on increasing the wages of budgetary institutions and organizations, as well as pensions, scholarships and benefits, by an average of 10 percent from Nov. 1.
