A guide to foreign markets will be created for entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan, Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov said, according to Kazinform.

"We continue to provide direct assistance to domestic companies interested in attracting investments and exporting their products. Small and medium-sized businesses, as the most important driver of the economy, receive special attention," he said.

The minister noted that Kazakh entrepreneurs should be provided with guidelines on the features of export markets, and for this the Foreign Ministry together with the national chamber of entrepreneurs Atameken is considering the creation of a guide to foreign markets, which would indicate customs, industry and other procedural features.

Speaking about the investment climate, Abdrakhmanov noted that active work is underway to form a favorable visa policy.

"A visa-free regime has been introduced for the OECD and EU countries, Malaysia, Monaco, UAE and Singapore. There is a mutual visa-free regime with 20 countries. As part of the Digital Kazakhstan program, we reviewed international experience and this year we plan to launch a pilot project on electronic visas for a number of countries," the minister said.
