PricewaterhouseCoopers to provide consulting for Safe City in Uzbekistan

PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) has won the tender for the development of project documentation and the provision of consulting services in the framework of the Safe City project in Uzbekistan, Uzbek media reported.

The Safe City unified hardware-software complex provides for integration of all information systems of internal affairs agencies, government agencies and other organizations, video surveillance systems, recording of offenses, protection of objects, early response and warning of possible threats, sensors of intellectual analytics, and other information systems on crime prevention, duty dispatch centers and data centers.

The first stage of the project will be implemented in Tashkent from Dec. 1, 2019, the second stage will be carried out in 2019-2021 in regional centers and major cities of Uzbekistan and the third stage will cover the entire territory of the country in 2021-2023.

PricewaterhouseCoopers is an international network of companies offering professional consulting and auditing services. It has existed for over 160 years and is part of the so-called 'big four' audit firms. The headquarters of the network is located in London.
