Some 9,934 business entities with foreign capital are registered in Azerbaijan, director general of the state registration and accounting department of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes Alakbar Mammadov said at an international conference.
Mammadov noted that this represents 15.1 percent of the total number of legal entities registered in Azerbaijan.
"Issuance of mobile e-signature ASAN Imza to non-residents contributes to an increase in the number of companies with foreign capital. In the first nine months of 2018, the number of companies with foreign capital registered in the country significantly increased. They account for approximately 58 percent of the total number of companies that have passed state registration," Mammadov said.
Having received an e-signature, non-residents will be able to carry out the operations they need from outside the country.
For example, to conduct operations for registration of an LLC, open bank accounts, certify notarial acts, use the services of the e-government portal, send tax returns, conduct import and export operations, etc.
