Process of land allotment starts as part of road construction in Turkey

In Turkey, the process of land allotment has been started as part of the construction of the main road between Ankara and the city of Nigde, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey told Trend on Oct. 25.

The ministry mentioned that land allotment work is also being carried out in Turkey's Aksaray Province, where the road will also be laid.

The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure had earlier told Trend that the new highway between Ankara and Nigde province in Turkey will be put into operation in 2020

The total length of the new road will be 330 kilometers and the route is one of the important highways in Turkey.

"The total cost of the project is 1.5 billion euros," the ministry said.

According to the ministry, five viaducts, 77 above-ground crossings, 34 bridges have been built during the construction of the new road.

"The construction of the new highway facilitates the growth of freight traffic within the country," the ministry added.
