New resort to appear in Kazakhstan’s Akmola region

A new resort will appear in Burabay district of Kazakhstan’s Akmola region, the tourism department of the region announced, according to Kazinform.

The AK Bura resort is planned to be built between the lakes Bolshoye Chebachye and Tekekol. The resort, which will occupy an area of 233 hectares, will be built with help of investment funds.

"The resort will be a year-round place of active recreation and entertainment, mainly focused on the domestic market. A wide range of leisure, sports and entertainment facilities will be established there,” the presentation of the project said.

AK Bura will include accommodation of 800 rooms and 424 private households. The conceptual master plan was designed so that the natural landscape remains intact and travelers are able to fully enjoy the natural beauty of Burabay district.
