In 2019, Azerbaijan will open 10 more trading houses abroad, Acting President of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) Yusif Abdullayev said at a press conference Oct. 31.
He said that several trading houses may open in China.
Abdullayev also noted that next year Azerbaijani entrepreneurs will participate in international exhibitions in China and South Korea.
He reminded that in October this year, Azerbaijani entrepreneurs participated in a food exhibition in Seoul.
“It was a very good platform via which we demonstrated Azerbaijani products under the 'Made in Azerbaijan' brand,” he said.
He noted that in general, since the beginning of the year, Azerbaijani businessmen have taken part in eight international exhibitions, including Prodexpo, International Green Week 2018, and others.
He added that Azerbaijan took part in the International Green Week for the 10th time. Azerbaijan presented agricultural products at the exhibition, especially the products of companies from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, he said.
Abdullayev also spoke about the activities of AZPROMO, noting that in the first nine months of this year, the Foundation organized 180 events, 155 of which were held within the country and 25 were held abroad.
