In 2018, the total volume of furniture production in Azerbaijan is expected to reach 72.6 million manats, which is 11.8 percent more than in 2017, according to the concept and forecast indicators of the socio-economic development of Azerbaijan for 2019 and the next three years.
According to the government’s forecasts, furniture production will expand over the next years. Thus, in 2019 this figure will be 76.7 million manats, in 2020 - 82.2 million manats, in 2021 - 88.2 million manats, in 2022 - 94.5 million manats.
Most of all, 17,481 pieces of office furniture is expected to be produced in Azerbaijan - in 2018.
In 2019, 18,529 pieces of office furniture will be produced, while in 2020 - 19,641 pieces.
From 2021 this figure will exceed 20,000 and reach 20,820 pieces, and in 2022 it will be 22,069 pieces.
