German consulting company Roland Berger GmbH will help Uzbekistan to create the concept of long-term development of road network, Uzbek media reported referring to the draft resolution of the head of state.
The new concept should provide for the introduction of modern standards and technologies in the design, construction and reconstruction, as well as repair of roads, depending on their categories, providing improved quality and service life.
A special working group should work on the establishment of Uzbek-German joint ventures for the production of modern building materials used in the construction and operation of roads.
In addition, it is planned to establish cooperation with leading German engineering companies in the design of roads, to apply the best foreign experience in development of roadside infrastructure and introduction of modern elements of landscape design along the roads.
The draft presidential resolution also aims to establish cooperation with the German Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure and leading companies in the sphere of attracting advanced methods and technologies for the construction and operation of roads.
It should be noted that Roland Berger, founded in 1967, is the leading European international consulting firm. The Roland Berger network has 50 offices in 36 countries.
