Terms for completing dairy plant’s feasibility study in Azerbaijan revealed(Exclusive)

The feasibility study of a dairy plant in the territory of Azerbaijan’s Yalama agropark that started in November will be completed by the end of this year, director of the agropark, Zaur Aliyev told Trend Nov. 27.

He said calculations are being done to determine the economic feasibility and profitability of the plant.

“After the feasibility study and all the calculations, it will be possible to provide more detailed information on the capabilities of the plant,” he said.

The director reminded that according to preliminary calculations, the cost of the plant is estimated at 12 million manats and its processing capacity will be 100 tons per day.

“The plant will produce milk, butter, dry milk and cheese,” he noted. “Milk will provide the needs of the domestic market, and dairy products will be exported as production increases.”
