Total recall: Over 5,000 Ravon cars to get repaired in Russia
Baku, Azerbaijan, Dec. 4
By Fikret Dolukhanov – Trend:
Ravon Motors Rus will recall 5,219 Ravon Nexia R3 cars of Uzbek production in Russia, the company stated.
Cars sold from May 2017 to March 2018 will be subject to recall.
“The reason for the recall of vehicles is the existing likelihood of displacement of the exhaust hose from the metal tube due to insufficient clamping force of a spring clip. This can lead to leakage of hydraulic fluid from the system,” the statement reads.
Owners of Nexia R3, which are subject to the recall, will be informed about the need to provide the vehicle to the nearest dealership for repair work. Owners can also independently contact the nearest dealer centers and sign up for repair if the VIN-code of the car coincides with the one indicated in the list.
Two additional hose clamps will be installed on the steering system hose of the vehicles. The work will be carried out free of charge.
