Eight projects will be implemented in Iran’s South Khorasan Province till the end of this Iranian year (started on March 21, 2018), Chairman of the Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of the South Khorasan Province Davood Shahraki said.
The investments worth 4 trillion rials (about $95.2 million) were made in those projects, Trend reports referring to Shata news agency.
Shahraki said that 12 projects will be implemented next Iranian year (to be started on March 21, 2019).
The investments worth 15 trillion rials (about $357 million) were made in those projects, he said.
Currently, more than 140 zones have been determined for exploration in the province, Shahraki said.
Last Iranian year and this Iranian year, the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO) spent investments worth 400 billion rials, mining companies - 400 billion rials and geological company - 300 billion rials, he said.
This shows that the mining sector is developing, Shahraki said.
