Pet Agro Oil company, established two years ago by Nortel Estate (Northern Ireland) and Tony Green (Uzbekistan) companies, intends to increase the production of vegetable oil, Trend reports citing the Uzbek media.
“Today, the enterprise’s activity is expanding. This will allow producing 350 tons of vegetable oil, 3,000 tons of tomato paste, and 2,500 tons of apple concentrate per day,” said the press service of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who has visited the enterprise.
After reaching full capacity, 800 local residents will be provided with jobs.
The head of state also got acquainted with the projects to attract foreign investment in the Samarkand region.
Mirziyoyev gave instructions on the implementation of projects and urged to study foreign experience and attract foreign experts.
