A delegation of the Uzbek State Tax Committee visited a number of agencies and companies in South Korea, Trend reports via UzDaily.
The purpose of the visit was to study the advanced Korean experience in introducing modern ICT in tax administration, modernizing data processing centers, creating and organizing co-working centers and using business incubations for developing startups and their possible use in Uzbekistan.
Meetings were held at the National Information and Research Service, the Daejeon Development and Economic Innovation Center, the Seoul Center for Global Startups and others.
During the meeting at the National Information and Research Service, the Uzbek delegation familiarized with the activities of the Service, organizing single data processing centers, as well as automating tax administration. An exchange of views took place.
Meetings were also held at a number of companies involved in organizing co-working centers.
In conclusion, the Korean side expressed interest in participating in international ICT conferences in Uzbekistan, as well as organizing internships and advanced training courses for Uzbek specialists.
