AzGranata, an Azerbaijani producer of wine and vodka, will produce a new type of vodka, Vugar Mikayilov, director of the company, told Trend.
“The oak bark vodka will be produced by using Swiss technology,” he added.
"The production process of this type of vodka requires sufficient time,” Mikayilov added. “The beverage will be prepared in oak barrels and be stored for a year. The process will begin in February.”
“For the first time this type of vodka was produced in Switzerland, the analogue of which we intend to produce in Azerbaijan,” he said. “Presently, this product is available in Duty Free shops at prices ranging from 30 euros to 50 euros. We plan to produce the local product under our own brand.”
