The hazelnut processing factory in Azerbaijan’s Zagatala region intends to double the export of hazelnuts this year, the company told Trend.
“The volumes of hazelnuts, intended for export, are planned to increase up to 3,000 tons,” the company said.
"This is actually twice as much compared to 2018 when 1,500 tons of finished products were exported,” the company said. “During the reporting period, our products were supplied to Italy and Russia.”
“Presently, we are looking for new countries to export hazelnuts and we intend to export our products to Switzerland this year,” the company stressed. “Partners in this country have expressed interest in our products, so we are ready for new effective cooperation."
The products of the factory have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijan State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents. There is also a confirmation code # AZE 6231 120 for the export of products to the EU countries.
The Turkish modern equipment is used at the factory.
