Train simulator for Iran’s Tabriz costs over 3M euros

Some 3.48 million euros have been spent to purchase train simulator equipment for Tabriz, the center of Iran's East Azerbaijan Province, Mostafa Movlavi, executive director of the Tabriz Urban Railway Organization, told IRNA, Trend reports.

According to Movlavi, 212 billion rials (about $5.04 million) have been spent to construct the Tabriz Railway Training Center, adding that the buildings and simulator equipment will be put into operation on February 18 (the anniversary of the protests by the people of Tabriz during the Islamic Revolution in Iran).

The simulator equipment is used to help train engineers gain experience and practice.
